Video Tours Increase Sales

A SellPoint study conducted by Coremetrics found a significant increase in product purchases after online shoppers viewed audio/video tours of products. There was a 35 percent conversion rate in shoppers who viewed the video tours vs. those who did not and the viewers spent an average of two and a half minutes engaged in viewing detailed product information about each product viewed. The author believes that this will replace using text to describe a product.
