
For most organisations, the biggest stumbling block to B2B emailing is the lack of eMail address information on their databases, along with a lack of opt-in agreements. So many organisations do not make it a priority to capture basic information such as full name, eMail address and opt-in information. The end result is that they can only communicate with a small percentage of their available market or sometimes just a small percentage of their own customers.
In reality, every organisation has many “points of contact” where they are able to cost-effectively add to their opt-in database. I have summarised seven main points of contact:
