Athletes' New Game: Their Own Web Ads

Chris Bosh, a National Basketball Association player spent an hour of his time and about $20.00 to put his ad up on YouTube. He asks fans to vote for him in the NBA All Star Game. In part thanks to the ad, Mr. Bosh now has his own "brand channel" on YouTube, which pays him 55% of ad revenue earned there. Additionally, NBA player Steve Nash, who represents Nike, wanted an ad that showed more of his personality and developed his own ad. Both can be viewed in the article.
