
This post by the Lonely Marketer, Patrick Schaber, says that he thinks you can't put a dollar amount on social media to prove ROI, but states that it is a very viable form of corporate marketing and there are a number of ways the medium can be sold up the chain and measured throughout the year. His seven points include the following: sales tool, feedback, stats, go find your customer, multipurpose content, promote realistic expectations and don't isolate social media.
