Junta42 is a search community site focused on content marketing and custom publishing solutions. If it’s content about content, from blogs to articles to podcasts to videos, you’ll find it here. Our content comes from some of the most respected media sites to the most obscure blogs from around the web – all joining in on the conversation about content marketing and how to attract and retain customers through content.

How does it work? Junta42 staff editors join with members of the Junta42 community to search out and submit the best content marketing information available on the web. This combination has created the best content marketing resource available today. But Junta42 needs your expertise; Join Now! All submissions are moderated by a Junta42 expert (just to keep out the spam), and are approved or denied within 24 hours.

Once something is submitted, members have the opportunity to Hitch! (link to section about hitching) the article. Enough Hitch!’s (like Digg’s or Sphinn’s) and the submission makes the Most Popular list, promoting the article even more.

Junta42 is a useful site for the following types of people:

Members can submit stories at any time. Junta42 is looking for quality content that is relevant to the content marketing industry. Expert articles and blog posts are great, although we will also accept a direct link to a content marketing example as a case study. As long as the article or post doesn’t OVERTLY offer a product for sale, we want it.

Once you submit your story, it will be checked by our review team before it is posted to the Junta42 article database. Users will be sent an email upon approval of the story.

• Enter the URL: Link directly to the source of the article or case study on the web. Be sure to use http:// with all URLs.
• Check the Title: This can be the title you are linking to, or can be something more relevant to the Junta42 audience. Use a title that you believe will get the most attention.
• Enter a Description: You are the author here, so create an abstract that will really make people want to read the article (as long as it’s truthful). An overview is great…an overview with key points or takeaways is even better.
• Choose a Category: Most likely, your story could go into many different categories, but pick the one that makes the most sense.
• Tags: Tags are key to helping people find your article. Include all the keywords, phrases, people and companies that are associated with the article. Plurals and variations should be used as well (i.e., web content, online content). Some of our articles have well over 10 tags.

In your “My Profile” page you will see links to both “Contributed Stories” and “Hitched Stories.” There you will be able to see a complete listing of all the articles you are involved with. For a total number of Hitched articles or comments made, just look to the right navigation bar.

Junta42’s list of most popular articles is generated by looking at 1) Which articles users are Hitching, 2) Which articles users are reading, and 3) Which articles are more recent. The combination of these three creates a dynamic “Most Popular Articles” list that changes based on user behavior.
